We have just completed our new cd. On Oct. 22nd the band went into Rick Hawthorne’s new studio in Paris, TX and laid down 13 songs. We all agreed to go into the studio and lay the tape down live just like we would lay it down anywhere we may be playing. There are no over dubs and no corrections on any part. We all put our best into it and came out with a tape that rocks. We recorded a song called War Zone, this song was written by our acoustic guitarist Chuck Colvin and Tim Lowery wrote the music to it. Chuck was in the Viet Nam war back in 1969. Being that he was there, his memory serves him well of what it was like back then. The lead guitar work of Chuck Lay is just awsome. How he came up with those sounds I just can’t explain it. I guess you’ll just have to hear it for yourself. Joe Shaw and Steve Cannon’s bass and drum licks put you right there in the middle of it all again. Other songs on the cd that are very special to me are Military Man, and Tiny Angels, and Shot of Whiskey, after that hang on cause we simply just rock the house down. DCR hopes you enjoy the tape due out in a couple of weeks and we hope to see you at an event that we will be playing in the near future.
Rock On
-Tim
